The lecture centers on incompetent managers and leaders and their subsequent abusive behavior towards employees.
When a manager becomes abusive towards the employees, no one gets by unscathed. And the higher up the corporate ladder said manager is, the more negative effects will there be for the employees. Employee Abuse can manifest in various ways and create workplace conditions that cause severe detrimental effects on employees mental and physical well being.
We have to keep in mind, if an employer has an abusive manager going rampant within the business entity, all employees are affected. Either they will flourish in the abusive settings and participate in the abuse, or they will become victims of their abusive surroundings.
There is no such thing as neutrality in abuse.
