Botany for all – Grounding

We all experience some internal detrimental sensation every now and then. Feelings such as anxiety, stress, dissociation, or even just sensing another person’s presence as overbearing are normal.

As such, it should also be normal for all of us to actively seek out ways to minimize the detrimental effects these feelings have on us. Grounding techniques are perfect as such.

Grounding techniques aren’t something only a few of us should do, we all actively engage in grounding in our day to day lives. We’re just not often aware that the behavior we are showing is a grounding technique.

Understanding what grounding techniques are, why they help us, and how to properly use them is beneficial to us all.
